EMPLOYERS® Completes Acquisition of AmCOMP®
The winds of change are, once again, upon EMPLOYERS as we celebrate our successful acquisition of AmCOMP. We welcome our new colleagues and celebrate the energy and expertise they bring to our business.
This acquisition expands EMPLOYERS workers’ compensation insurance operations to 29 states and 17 branch offices, and significantly advances EMPLOYERS vision of being the leader in the property and casualty insurance industry specializing in workers’ compensation.
Both EMPLOYERS and AmCOMP have been squarely focused on small, Main Street businesses. We believe that it is better to be very good at one thing than to be average at many. We appreciate that workers’ compensation is not a national business, but many local businesses conducted nationally. We understand that long-term success in our business is defined by underwriting focus, discipline and profitability.
