Jeff J. Gans has been Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of Employers Insurance Company of Nevada and Employers Compensation Insurance Company since April 2006. Prior to joining EMPLOYERS®, he was Senior Vice President, Underwriting Operations, with AON Underwriting Managers in Chicago, Illinois, from 2004 to 2005. Gans also has held various executive management positions such as Senior Vice President at CNA from 2001 to 2003, Vice President, Commercial Insurance at Fireman’s Fund from 1998 to 2001 and Vice President, Commercial Insurance Group at USF&G from 1993 to 1998. He received a B.S. degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and has earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designations.
