Welcome to this edition of EMPLOYERS Minute where EMPLOYERS Social Media Manager, Adam Varahachaikol, highlights the latest company developments.
- Agents can now quickly identify eligible classes of business and start a quote through our new and improved EACCESS Appetite Checker. EMPLOYERS is committed to making it easier for our agents to do business with us. As we invest in technology and automation to help improve the agent’s experience, and empower them with more information at their fingertips; we’re excited to unveil this new tool that is designed to clearly and consistently communicate our appetite across business segments and geographic regions. Agents will now be able to quickly identify eligible classes of business, review classification conditions and start a quote. To learn more about the Appetite Checker, and to watch a quick demonstration video, head to our website at employers.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Appetite Checker” under the “For Insurance Agents” section.
- And a reminder that the EMPLOYERS Injured Employee Hotline is available to policyholders 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 855-365-6010. The hotline is staffed by registered nurses who are fluent in both English, Spanish and can provide accommodations for other languages. They are specially trained to provide medical guidance over the phone for new work-related injuries or illnesses. Based on symptoms reported by an employee, nurses will recommend the appropriate level of care, such as self-care or referral to a medical provider. Claims should be reported immediately after an injury occurs and the employee’s personal medical information will be kept confidential and in accordance with HIPAA. Again, call the Injured Employee Hotline anytime at 855-365-6010. Remember, if an employee has a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
