EMPLOYERS® Names Barry J. Vogt, Chief Claims Officer, Senior Vice President

EMPLOYERS® (NYSE: EIG), America’s small business insurance specialist®, has named Barry J. Vogt chief claims officer, senior vice president. He leads EMPLOYERS’ claim operations group and is responsible for claims strategy, medical management/managed care strategy, catastrophic claim management, fraud investigations, claim controls, regulatory compliance and subrogation effectiveness. Vogt brings to EMPLOYERS more than 29 years of experience in the insurance industry, and progressive management experience with various companies including Sedgwick Claims Management Services and Crawford & Company. Vogt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and holds a CPCU Professional Designation. He will be based out of EMPLOYERS’ headquarters in Reno, Nevada.
