Recognition in U.S, world lists highlight high level of trust in our products and people
RENO, Nev. — September 26, 2024 — EMPLOYERS (NYSE: EIG), a leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, has been named to two prestigious business lists that solidify our standing as a trusted provider in the insurance industry.
EMPLOYERS received the #3 spot on Newsweek’s 2024 list of Most Trustworthy Companies in America and the #7 spot in the publication’s 2024 ranking of Most Trustworthy Companies in the World. Both rankings were within the lists’ insurance categories.
“There is no greater value we can elicit from our customers and partners than their trust,” said Katherine Antonello, President and Chief Executive Officer of Employers Holdings, Inc. “With this vote of confidence, we will continue to serve as trusted advisors to the countless small businesses across America who partner with us to safeguard their companies and their workforce.”
Companies were evaluated as part of an independent survey process where participants rated companies they knew in terms of three touchpoints of trust: Investor Trust, Customer Trust and Employee Trust.
To formulate rankings across America, Newsweek partnered with data firm Statista to rank 700 U.S. companies based on trustworthiness. Public and private companies across 23 industries were included based on an independent survey of about 25,000 Americans.
A similar process was undertaken for the world rankings including the recognition of 1,000 companies across 23 industries and 20 countries. The ranking is based on an independent survey of more than 70,000 participants and 230,000 evaluations from customers, investors and employees.
