Governor Sandoval Proclaims Kids’ Chance Awareness Week November 13-17 to Shed Light on the Seriousness of Workplace Accidents and Raise Awareness of Scholarship Fund

Kids’ Chance was established to create, assist and support programs that provide educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers who were disabled or killed in a workplace accident.

We’re also calling for others in the Nevada business community to support this important cause and contribute to the Kids’ Chance of Nevada scholarship fund.”

The national Kids’ Chance of America scholarship fund, Planning for the Future, is an all-inclusive program designed to take some of the financial burden of college off of families affected by workplace injuries. The fund’s goal is to give students the tools they need for success in the workplace as well as enable them to make a difference in their own lives as well as the lives of others. Nationally, the scholarship fund has assisted more than 6,000 students in pursuing their education goals.
